Bogden has been doing some work trying to construct a sensible book list of the basic books a Deacon would need on their book shelves. This I think is almost an impossible challenge as every deacons ministry is different and hence the resources needed will be different but their are a number of core books and resources that most deacons should have access to. This list is an attempt to capture just that:
